The Paris Teachers Club Turns 2: Our Achievements So Far 

Two years ago, our intrepid founder Kathryn, founder and director of Le Bus Anglais, launched the Paris Teachers Club. Her mission was to create a supportive space for English teachers in Paris, where passionate educators could connect and share advice and opportunities, and we are so proud of how far we have come. 

Since 2022, the Paris Teachers Club has grown in leaps and bounds, and we have achieved a lot. And it doesn’t end there! We have big plans for the future. 

This month on the Paris Teachers Club blog, we wanted to highlight some of our wins over the last two years.

Many friendships formed 

Moving to a new city, often on a whole new continent, isn’t easy. Not only is there a level of culture shock to become accustomed to, but in the early days when you are just finding your feet and friendship circle, it can be lonely. The Paris Teachers Club is always growing, and over the years we have connected fellow English teachers, formed friendships and hosted many fun dinners, picnics and cocktail nights for our members. Our events coordinator Jaelah has been a rock star at organising exciting catch-ups and we have many planned for the future.

A thriving private Facebook group for Paris teachers  

Jaelah also manages our private Facebook group. Once you register to join the Paris Teachers Club – it’s free! – you’ll receive access. This group now has almost 200 members and is a place to share information on teaching vacancies, events in Paris that may be of interest to you and simply to meet fellow expats in the city!

Exciting social media content 

Since our inception, we’ve published hundreds upon hundreds of posts, Stories and Reels to our social media platforms, which you can find on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Our social media manager Felicity posts lots of interesting and informative content about life in Paris, teaching English, France, catch-ups and more. You’ll definitely want to follow us!

Since we launched the Paris Teachers Club blog in earnest two years ago with Felicity at the helm, we’ve built a considerable collection of articles that have been a go-to for not just expats considering a move to Paris, but tourists too.
