The boutique store serves up fresh gelato that is not only some of the best in the city, but also entirely gluten-free. Grom originated in Italy, so its gelato recipes are the most authentic and mouth-watering possible. Visitors rave about their entire range, with the pistachio a firm standout!

If you love sorbet, you can’t miss a trip to La Glacerie Paris this summer. The new hotspot, located in vibrant Le Marais, is famous for their 35 flavours of sorbet and ice cream which are made with all-natural ingredients. The presentation in this cute store on the Rue du Temple is also second to none, and you’re promised a first class Paris ice cream experience. We love any of their fruity offerings!

4) La Maison du Chocolat

La Maison du Chocolat is an institution in Paris, known for its expertise in all things high-quality chocolate. However, in addition to their incredible range of chocolates, macarons and truffles, La Maison du Chocolat also sells some of the best ice cream in Paris. Their frozen ice cream bars and sorbets are taking the city by storm, and are a go-to for staying cool this summer. There are a number of La Maison du Chocolat locations across Paris.

Berthillon has been thrilling Parisians for over half a century with their range of luxury ice creams and sorbets. Their primary store is located on the Île Saint-Louis, and is always teeming with hungry patrons during the summer months. We love the wild strawberry ice cream, but their huge range of flavours makes it impossible to pick a favourite!

6) Martine Lambert

Tucked away on Rue Cler in Paris’ 7th, you’ll find Martine Lambert, who many cite as home to their favourite ice cream in Paris. This charming little stand boasts some of the most delicious ice cream and sorbet in town, and also has stores in Normandy, where it originates from. Martine Lambert regularly alternates their range, so there’s always a new flavour to savour. Plus, their macarons are to die for.

7) Amorino

https://www.amorino.com

Amorino isn’t a boutique Paris ice cream experience, per se. They are a retailer that has opened many locations across Paris (and Europe) since 2022, so there’s bound to be one near you. But that doesn’t mean that they scrimp on quality. Amorino serves up incredible Italian-style gelato, crêpes, waffles, macarons and coffees, and their entire menu is affordable and delicious. Amorino’s philosophy is to use only the best ingredients and the most authentic Italian gelato recipes available, and their popularity only continues to grow.

8) Pozzetto

Open every day of the week until late, Pozzetto is a sweet little spot scooping up the best homemade ice cream and gelato in Le Marais. Pozzetto boasts a huge range of dessert flavours, and we love the salted caramel. In addition to terrific ice cream, Pozzetto is also a cafe that offers many other yummy dishes, as well as seriously good coffee. If you need a caffeine fix, don’t miss out on their affogato. And, if the line is a little long when you get to their flagship store on the Rue de Sicile, you’ll be pleased to know that Pozzetto now has two shops within 20 metres of each other!

9) Pierre Hermé Paris

https://www.pierreherme.com/en

Pierre Hermé is a renowned French chocolatier and pastry chef, and his eponymous range of stores has locations across Paris and France. Pierre Hermé may be known for their luxury macaron range, but their ice creams and sorbets are just as good! The wide range of flavours range from light and summery to nutty and chocolatey – and every variation in between! You can even order them to be delivered to your home via their website!

10) Il Gelato del Marchese

Last but certainly not least, Il Gelato del Marchese wraps up our list of the best ice cream in Paris. With two locations in Paris (and expanding into locations abroad), this pretty ice cream parlour serves up exquisite gelato with a smile. Their range of gelato is eclectic and unique – think salmon sorbet – but you can expect all the classic favourites to keep you cool this summer too. Dine in or takeaway, but we recommend sticking around for a while to really immerse yourself in Il Gelato del Marchese’s elegant interior!
